About the Wives of Isabella Danger
When closeted entertainment writer, Apple I. Ferdinand is assigned to cover the wake of the late rocker – Isabella Danger; she’s secretly overjoyed. Apple is at a crossroads with a fiancé she doesn’t love and a mother that she resents. But as she interviews the wives of Isabella Danger, she may just find the key to happiness that she so desperately needs.
This beautiful and intimate contemporary fiction piece takes place over two afternoons in Apple’s life. It’s a quick and captivating read that appeals to readers of Charlotte Perkins Gilman, Raymond Carver, and other character-focused writers.
The Wives of Isabella Danger is an intimate look into what it means to be happy.
This is a LGBTQ contemporary fiction romance novel centered around organic human interaction. You won’t find steamy love scenes or epic drama in this novella. (Not that there’s anything wrong with either.)
