When science collides with belief
Jane and Freema want to have their biological child together without a man.
Trouble is, having children in the new Mars settlement is against mission rules, and the tech needed is 36 million miles away on Earth.
Their solution: Jane will return to Earth to have the delicate DNA work done on the sly.
But some await her arrival with other plans.
Alone in a startling future when everyone lives to 200, when gender is no longer a thing, when no one works, travel is instantaneous, and the partying never ends, Jane searches the dark side of Old New York City for a black-market clinic. Soon she is drawn into a perilous encounter with those who would corrupt her plans and enslave her to their ends.
Visitor is a personal story of intrigue, daring and courage. A must read for anyone concerned with technology and its clash with traditional beliefs.
Learn More About The Author
I worked in the film business as a screenwriter and director for many years. My first feature film, “Love At First Sight”, Dan Aykroyd’s first film, was invited to Filmex in Los Angeles by the American Film Institute. (You can find a full list of my film and TV credits at IMDB.com.)
I directed a fair bit of children’s television, and in the 1990s, I ran an educational software company in Vancouver, Canada. My team (mostly women) and I won The Newmedia Invision Award, Newsweek’s Editor’s Choice Award and Parenting Magazine’s Magic Software Award for our musical painting app for preschoolers entitled Paint ‘N’ Play.
Visitor is not my first novel. I have written another entitled AT LARGE. It’s the story of a people denied their right to self-determination; a humorous book that some may find offensive. That’s too bad because it is about the way we are. I’m hoping to have it out early in 2020.
