About Joseline by Ceri Bladen
Joseline Williams’s life as a scullery maid changes forever when she starts work at a large Plymouth Estate and chances upon the handsome son of her employer. Admiring Lord Jack Hammond from afar, she is both shocked and pleased when he notices her. Flattered by his words and promises, Joseline falls for Jack despite his betrothal to another.
However, when their secret love affair is discovered, she soon realises Jack’s whispered words and declarations meant nothing to him. Humiliated, after being branded a thief and liar, Joseline is ripped away from her family and life and sent away on the high seas.
With the betrayal by Jack almost too much to bear, she wishes to die, but when the ship she travels on is attacked by pirates, Joseline realises she has a decision to make: Live like a pirate with the captain, or get her wish to die…
A tale of adventure, love and betrayal.

Ceri Bladen originates from the lovely Welsh village, Caerleon, before she moved to Swansea to obtain her teaching degree.
After having twins and another child, seventeen months later, her family moved to Turkey for a slower place of life. Here, in between looking after numerous street dogs and a kindle of street cats, she enjoys researching history and writing.
Ceri loves romance, so most of her books contain elements of it, whether in the form of historical, contemporary, or fantasy.
